Sylvia and Leona Campbell had the dream of putting Sylvia’s on the map with music festivals. The first one was in 2004 as Sylvia’s Jamboree then over the next ten years various local and Canadain artists and bigger names such as Gord Bamford, Lisa Brokop, Aaron Pritchett, Aaron Lines, and Jaydee Bixby.

Sylvia loved music, loved to dance and loved to see people have fun. She sat front row enjoying the bands and later retreated to her little porch and watched the crowds as it brought her great pleasure to see the grounds fill up. She would then fall asleep to the booming of the sound system.

Sylvia would be delighted to see these grounds being used to their potential once again. Just as we can be assured that Sylvia is tapping her foot in heaven to these tunes as her legacy carries on here on earth.
